Every adjustment is calibrated to a natural range — at full strength Face Slim moves the contour by 14%. Move the sliders and the drawing follows, in the same directions and by the same ratios as the app. It is an illustration, not a retouch of a photograph.

Does SELVU change my identity?

No — that's the point of the product. SELVU aims for subtle, natural adjustments, and you control the strength of every one. The defaults are calibrated to keep you looking like you.

Are my photos uploaded?

SELVU is designed around on-device processing: face tracking and retouching are built to run on your phone rather than a server. Final behavior will be documented precisely when the app launches.

Does SELVU work with video?

Yes. SELVU tracks your face across frames so the retouch stays stable and consistent through a whole clip. Video currently supports SDR clips up to 1080p at 30 fps.

Can I save my own face preset?

Yes. SELVU learns the adjustments you keep choosing and offers them back as your own starting point, alongside the built-in ones. Your preferences stay on your device.

Will there be a free version?

We're considering a free tier alongside paid Pro features. Pricing isn't final yet — joining the waitlist is the best way to hear first.

Will SELVU support iPhone and Android?

Yes, both platforms are the goal. iPhone is planned first, with Android following.
